Meet The Doctor

David Fenton, DDS, MD, FACS
Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

I am originally from Detroit, Michigan. I am married to my wonderful wife Jodi Levy-Fenton and we have two beautiful children.

I received my Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan. I then received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry. I completed a six-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) residency at the University of Connecticut, which included obtaining a Doctorate of Medicine. I received excellent surgical and medical training not only in OMS, but other fields such as adult and pediatric medicine, anesthesiology and general surgery. I have been certified as a diplomate by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Additionally, I maintain an active role in organized dentistry and education. I currently hold a national committee position with the American Association of OMS, a state committee position with the Connecticut Society of OMS, and am the Connecticut State Chairman of the OMS Political Action Committee. Locally, I organize and host a dental profession study club. I also actively supervise and teach the University of Connecticut Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residents and dental students.
